John Morris

John joined the Airport Company Executive in 2004. As well as being an ‘Ambassador’ for the company, his responsibilities include corporate reputation, environmental policy, planning, and surface access. Previous experience in strategic planning was obtained with British Rail, National Express Group and the Department for Transport, as well as in a number of consultancy roles, both in UK and overseas. In 1999-2000 John devised and delivered a major aid project in former Yugoslavia; an area of Europe with which he maintains connections to this day.

John’s other expertise is in communication, marketing, lobbying and event management - with over 20 years experience across a range of positions (within organisations including Virgin Group, InterCity and Arriva) - from company spokesman to editor of a national magazine.

John is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport; a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Journalists. John sits on the Patron’s Board of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is a Board Member of the British American Business Council and a member of the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Executive Committee.
