Harry is the Group Managing Director of Brintons Ltd, the world’s largest producer of woven carpets. Brintons has factories in six countries on four continents and their carpets can be seen in Hong Kong airport, on the Queen Mary 2 and in the Kremlin and White House. They are also well known for their innovative advertising using carpet dresses and, more recently, linking up with the world famous shoe designer Manolo Blahnik. A Chartered Accountant by training, Harry spent four years as the Group Finance Director for Brintons. Prior to this he had worked for many years in the automotive industry, for Leyland Vehicles, DAF NV, Land Rover and Rover Group. During this time he held a number of senior financial and general management roles in businesses in the UK, Japan, South Africa, Australia and the USA. He has also set up businesses in Bulgaria and Switzerland and travelled extensively throughout the world.
