THE TOPIC - One of the biggest concerns for UK companies entering the US market is importing into the USA and customs. Some of the topics covered will include:
- Overview of the role of freight forwarder, customs broker, importer of record, etc.
- Overview of types of import & types of customs entry
- Information on country of origin, restrictions, agencies, markings, etc.
- The 101 of commercial invoices

WHO IS IT FOR - General Consumer & Industrial Goods (this webinar pertains to importing into the USA and will not provide UK or other country-specific specific regulations or specialised guidance to those companies that need to seek additional permissions, e.g. perishable food, alcoholic beverages, etc.)
